Unfortunately writing about a negative experience for both myself and my partner. We both came to this clinic for an eye exam as new patients. The service was good and the doctors were very kind. However, when we both proceeded to purchase new glasses using the prescriptions we were given, we came to realize there was something terribly wrong with the prescriptions. Both my partner and I could not tolerate the new prescription lenses we were given. When my partner had his glasses inspected by a local eyeglass shop to ensure they had been made correctly, the optician advised that he should have never been given that prescription as it was over double in strength from his previous - and he had no issues seeing with his previous prescription! Unfortunately, we are now both out $100+ for lenses that are no good. When I called the FYI to see if they could reassess the prescriptions we were given, I was advised that we would both need another brand new eye exam, with the next available appointments many months down the road. These eye exams would come at full cost, another $100+ each. Hence the costs paid for our initial exams were a complete waste. Unfortunately, we have lost our trust in this clinic and will be going elsewhere for ongoing optical care.
Fantastic service and facilities. The Doctor actually came in on her day off to see my wife. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great selection of eyewear too. 10/10 would reccomend.
I’m very impressed with all aspects of this office after having an eye exam with Dr. Erickson. The exam itself was very efficient and her explanations were thorough yet concise. I was even more impressed with the professionalism of Meagan, the staff member who performed a number of tests on my eyes. Again, very efficient, but also extremely thorough with in-depth explanations of what we were doing and why. When I had to come back a month later for more tests, Meagan again performed them and I was just as impressed the second time around. The office staff who helped me look at frames were also very informative and thorough with their explanations, especially about the lens options. I wish I had gotten their names so that I could compliment them specifically, but since I didn’t, I’ll just say bravo to all of the staff there for the exemplary treatment I received.
This place is amazing. I was having a quick onset of symptoms with my eyes and they brought me in the day I called and even stayed late to make sure I didn't need acute treatment. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, Dr. Laycock was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommended this place, they definitely will always have my business.
