Peter from Mr. Rooter was all the way in Lake Country when he received our call from Penticton. Despite it being late on a Saturday afternoon, he hurried to us as soon as he completed the job he was at, and repaired what turned out to be a sewer blockage and subsequent backup. Before he began his work, he brought up all that needed doing ahead of time and ensured that we understood what we would be paying. Peter was professional, personable, immaculate in what was a very messy job, and he was extremely thorough- both in his work, his testing and re-testing of the pipes, and then in his explanation of what was happening in our plumbing. Peter's diligence and attention to detail no doubt saved us from what would have been a dreadful mess, he let us know what would need to be done to prevent this issue from reoccurring, and the price was much, much less than we had braced ourselves for.. especially on a Saturday night. Excellent service- highly recommend!

If I could rate these guys less than 1 star, I would! They came and replaced my hot water tank without diagnosing the problem and charged my landlords $2300. He was supposed to fix a leaky pipe coming out of the hot water tank and instead he replaced the tank and tightened a valve (which continued leaking). Then he came back and replaced the leaking pipe and charged my landlords for a second job. After all that, the original problem was still the same and they were going to charge my landlords again to come back. Instead of dealing with the same idiots, my landlords contacted Rob from maximum plumbing and heating who properly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than 3 hours charging my landlords only $200. He was so much more respectful and helpful than mr. Rooter!
