I was in attendance the first day Oranj opened in Kelowna 13 years ago, I took their 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, and I started working at Oranj Penticton before they even opened- that’s saying something! This is a place whose members are deeply cared for, that trains their staff well, and that embodies wellness. Customer service is exceptional and the instructors are wonderful, varied, and happy to be there!
Great classes and staff. I enjoy working out here and can't wait to return post Covid19.
Not happy with Oranj. My trainer moved gyms and I went with her. No credit for unused sessions (they said I had one left but the trainer's records show 3 left) unless I used the personal trainer taking over from mine. They wouldn't allow me to use the remaining credit for clothing which was a reasonable option for me. I get that COVID has been hard for many businesses, but some handle it more professionally than others. I'm disappointed.
If you want a company to take your money and fail to provide the service- then Oranj is for you! They refuse to adhere BC Consumer Protection Act and during COVID repeatedly advised no refunds despite the fact customers are entitled to them per the law! The owner actually suggested I work out in their dirty parking lot to use up my $600 worth of training sessions left. I had been attending 4-7 classes a week for a year and a half, and this is how they treated me. Stay clear - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
