The gym here is always clean, and not too busy. The new equipment is great, but the gym isn't too busy like a lot of them. Also the staff is friendly and supportive, including the regional manager Ahmed
Alex is fairly new to Anytime Fitness Penticton and he is an amazing personal trainer. I'm 54 and have never had the desire to hire a personal trainer until having a session with Alex. He is very knowledgeable in many areas.... patient and kind yet gives you the push you need. He will also give you pointers when it's not even your session with him. Highly recommend!
Not impressed with contracts here. Look around for better deals with less commitment. In response to tge business's comment below, I just exited a locked year long contract that I only used for 4 months, because of the pandemic ruining everything. I have been much happier running in the ice and snow and really could have used an opportunity to exit when I moved across town.
Recently the past 3 weeks I choose to join Anytime Fitness as well hire Alex Calmets as my personal trainer. As any new habit, discipline and consistency are challenging to create without any sort of accountability or follow up and I strongly believe it is one of the most passionate and dedicated expectations Alex leads with. While I am not at my fitness goal and in fact starting out, I am confident with Alex's training and coaching I will become where I want to be. Alex remains credible with his own personal transformation, university education and he has tried, investigated and gone through what works and what does not so you do not have to guess for yourself. Alex is personable, asks the right questions and is a drill sargeant with the best of intentions to get RESULTS ; Alex is just as committed as you are. I recommend doing the consultation and choosing Alex as your trainer. Alex has demonstrated he is trustworthy and when you are feeling vulnerable he will be able to walk you through the process.. even when you are experiencing muscle soreness or what you describe as 'pain' from workouts etc, he will take the time to properly instruct a thorough stretch routine and ensure you prevent further injury. Being around Alex's energy is motivating and when you start to feel unmotivated as motivation is temporary, he reminds you of your 'WHY'. Book with him, and don't wait until the new year.. your goals can start tomorrow!
